White Dress Events is a boutique wedding planning firm with offices in Grand Haven and the Detroit area. Although we are located in Michigan, we’re not afraid to pack a bag and travel wherever a bride and groom might need us. We have been so lucky to plan weddings in a variety of locations; from grand ballroom receptions to casual backyard weddings to ceremonies on the beach…we love what we do and making each client’s vision a reality.
Owner + Creative Director
As the Owner and Creative Director of White Dress Events, it is Cassie’s joy to dream big alongside the couples she works with. Creating the wedding day her clients have been dreaming of by combining the perfect vendor team with stylish design and flawless execution gives her great satisfaction. She believes it is important to take the time to get to know and understand her clients so she can meet their needs and give them the wedding experience they envision.
The things that inspire Cassie are building meaningful relationships, leading a successful team and raising the bar in the wedding industry. With those things at heart, Cassie founded Grand Haven Wedding Walk, an upscale boutique style bridal show and co-founded Wedding Lab, a wedding planning workshop for brides. She also coordinates several social nights and networking events for wedding industry professionals throughout the year.
Branch Manager + Lead Planner – Detroit
As Branch Manager and Lead Event Planner for the Detroit area, Briana loves that she gets to wear many hats when working with a couple….she is a designer, problem solver, organizer, time manager, listening ear, train-bustler and sometimes even a florist among many other things. She understands how stressful planning a wedding can be and she finds joy in lifting the burden so a couple and their family can enjoy this big day!
Briana started her career with White Dress Events as an Event Assistant in 2012 while she was attending Grand Valley State University. After graduation, she began planning and coordinating weddings on her own and loves every minute of it. Briana received her Wedding Planning certification in 2012 from The Bridal Society. She was appointed as the Director of the Michigan chapter shortly thereafter.
The thing that inspires Briana the most is watching the hours upon hours of planning come to fruition on the day of a wedding and making all of a brides dreams, ideas, and Pinterest boards come to life on the day of her wedding.
With over five years of planning experience under her belt and seven years in the bridal industry, Rachel joined the White Dress Events team in 2014 and has quickly been recognized as an expert in all things wedding. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, she is meticulous when it comes to planning all the details. She finds inspiration in being able to see a bride’s vision in the early stages of planning and carry it on through the big day, making sure every detail is in place.
Rachel has a wonderful, calming presence a midst the frenzy and flurry of wedding tasks. Her attention to detail ensures everything will be in its perfect place and that the needs of you and your family are met before you may even notice you need something. Rachel is an asset to every bride she works with.
Tiffany joins the team with six years of experience in the bridal industry and four years planning weddings. She has a gift for incorporating personal touches into every wedding, making the big day unique and meaningful to the couple she works with.
Even after years into the planning business, Tiffany still gets teary eyed watching the father/daughter dances. She has a kind heart and passion to help others. In addition to her love of weddings and planning them, she also has a deep love for Gone with the Wind, writing (check out our blog section for samples of her work) and coffee. Lots of it! All of these things make her a wonderful addition to the White Dress Events team.
